Dr. Brecht joined in the fun and was Mickey Mouse. A nice touch. We had a good discussion about the progress of m y pelvic pain and what Pain Management had done. He is going to write them to reinforce the improvement I have experienced to proceed further. He also addressed some recent issues which popped up in a should and knee. He is easy to talk to ane wants to help.

Stand up surgeon. Listens to me. Explains things to me as many times as I need. Professional with a professional crew around him. I’m very tankful to have him as my ortho surgeon to repair a pretty bad dislocated ankle with a compound fracture. In April, 2022, I had a very serious dirt bike accident. Dr. Brecht repaired my collarbone, hip, femur, and kneecap which all required extensive surgeries. Today, three months later, I am walking, temporarily using a cane, and there have been no complications. I’m so tankful for the opportunity to have been operated on by Dr. Brecht. His work is stellar. You too would be blessed to have his professionalism involved with getting you put back together. I would recommend his services to anyone, who is seriously injured, that could be penciled into his schedule. I don’t plan on dislocating and fracturing anything other than my ankle and fibula, but should some serious trauma based event occur to me in the future, I would feel optimistic in all ways knowing that Dr. Brecht was at the helm. Thank you for your two day’s of surgery after my dirt bike crash. Never being admitted to a hospital by ambulance and having several injuries including shattered patella,broken femur, with a broken pelvis as well as broken clavicle all needing hardware. Dr. J. Brecht saved me the use of my left ankle. I fell from a roof (from about 30 feet up & was lucky to survive) and my ankle was shattered about halfway down; I struck an overhang and rolled down a porch roof, then landed on the lawn about 14 feet below. I fully expected my ankle to have been fused, as the result of such a violent accident, but, I was fortunate to have had an orthopedic surgeon who was so skilled and willing to extend the effort to reconstruct my ankle. My 3yr old needed a spica cast after a sledding accident that ended in a broken femur bone.
